New Delhi: Suzuki will arrive at New Delhi’s auto expo in February with their latest global Hatchback. The new car has been test driven on different roads in India and Europe. There are unconfirmed reports that in 2014, Suzuki’s small car Alto will replace the Estilo in India. The temporary name that Suzuki has given the car is YL7.
The car will be presented at the auto expo by the name of A-Wind. Suzuki has already released pictures of the vehicle. Suzuki has maintained Maruti car’s tall boy image in its design. It is powered by 1.0 liter 3-cylinder K-Series engine which can generate a maximum power of 67 bhp and peak torque of 90 Nm.
The car has a 5 speed manual gearbox. The car’s automatic transmission variant will also be presented at the auto expo. Start-Stop system, Brake energy regeneration, ABS and EBD are some of the car’s features. Maruti Suzuki is expected to begin manufacturing the new car in India in January 2014.
