EVGA Tegra Note 7 : The First Tablet from NVIDIA

NVIDIA is a name known to those familiar with computer hardwares. The company based in California, USA that manufactures graphics processing units as well as system-on-a-chip units is famous for its excellence. Nvidia provides parallel processing capabilities deployed in supercomputing sites. More recently, Nvidia has moved into the mobile computing market, where it produces Tegra mobile processors for smartphones and tablets.

Nvidia Corporation has recently introduced their very own tablet EVGA Tegra Note 7 in cooperation with another computer hardware company EVGA. Equipped with a Tegra 4 quad-core processor, a 1280×800 display, micro HDMI to connect to HD televisions, 16GB of storage and a 5-megapixel camera along with a front-facing webcam for video calling, claims are this is the first 7-inch tab to use this processor.

EVGA claims that the device has the world’s first HDR camera in a tablet. The tablet that works on Android operating system (OS) has a 4100 mAh battery. However Nvidia has not clarified the version of the OS. The $200 device offers a strong Android tablet alternative to the pricier Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 8.
